In the Fall of 2009, Mediamatic produced the first “user-generated” Amsterdam Biennale displaying 37 pavillions by international curators and artists who could propose a vision of their city’s art scene.
This event took place in Mediamatic Bank. The art space planned weekly openings for the pavillions, and set up an online “travel agency” platform where the artists were to give background information and offer an artistic guide-service for potential visitors.
Together with composer Natalia Domínguez Rangel, we produced a 2 x 2 meter installation for Bogotá, displaying photographic works by Colombian artists Milena Bonilla, Juan Pablo Echeverri, Juan Guillermo Escobar and a collaborative sound & image installation by ourselves.
